Battle Cancer

Ever wondered how fitness and raising money come together? Well wonder no more! Battle Cancer is an annual competition that invites teams to compete a series of gruelling workouts to raise money for different cancer charities. In 2017 the competition raised over £51,000 for different charities across the UK!

This year four fitness buffs, Chris, Mari, Vic and Warren decided to take part to raise money for Kidscan, raising between them enough money to date, to fund over 46 hours of vital research!

After a day of workouts, bear crawls, squats, deadlifts and even synchronized sit ups the team came 11th out of 200! With a BBQ, beer, stalls & DJ’s we are sure the team managed to celebrate their success in style.

If you would like to follow in their footsteps, you can sign up to the next Battle Cancer on the 3rd August 2019 at Victoria Warehouse! To find out more visit their website here.
