Fundraising Assistant

Job Title: Fundraising Assistant
Location: Kidscan offices at University of Salford, Greater Manchester
Accountable to: Fundraising Manager
Hours of work: Full time (36.25 hours p.w)
Remuneration: Salary up to £25,000 dependent on experience

This is busy and varied role requiring the ability to manage a range of different priorities while maintaining the best attention to detail. The successful candidate must be highly organised and can expect to work across a number of areas including prospect research, cultivation of events, community fundraising, corporate fundraising, challenge events and student fundraising.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with previous charitable experience. We are looking for a creative individual who is a good communicator, with strong organisation and administration skills. They will deliver a high quality service to supporters, co-ordinate volunteers, provide excellent donor stewardship and make presentations to support events and campaigns.

With a high level of computer literacy, recording data accurately and in line with GDPR requirements is a must.

The fundraising team is compact and whilst the fundraising assistant is line managed by the Fundraising Manager, they will work with other members of the team on specific tasks. They can expect support from across the team as we work together in our mission to fund vital research.

Each member of the Fundraising Team shares responsibility for the overall fundraising target. We achieve this by collaborating and supporting each other; a strong team ethic is a must. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop and grow their skills and to gain experience across a number of fundraising areas.
