Celebrating your Birthday at home

So Covid19 is here, everyone is self-isolating or stuck at home, and it’s your Birthday! You’re probably worry how you’re going to celebrate? Well worry no more! We have you covered, and the best part? You can raise money for charity at the same time!

Step 1. Let’s Party!
Everyone needs something good to look forward to so don’t let coronavirus stop you partying! We’re going to guide you through how to have a party with your friends and family from home! So first things first, let’s get a date in the diary – and let everyone know. Hit Facebook, Twitter, Skype and the phones!

Step 2. Get your cake!
Every party needs a birthday cake and why should yours be any different? But wait! How are you going to share your cake? Well, here’s the great part pick a recipe from online and share it with your friends. Everyone can use up those half empty bags of flour they’ve been hoarding and make their own cakes!

Step 3. Sort out some banging tunes!
Okay so you have a date and some cake, there’s one more thing missing! Get yourself on Spotify and set up a playlist. Make it available for others to edit, and share the link with your friends. You’ll have great fun choosing music for the party and you can all listen together.

Step 4. Raise some money!
Let’s face it, the only reason people have a birthday party is for the presents right? But with the current climate people can’t get to shops or get them to your home, so here’s how you can raise money for charity. Try setting up a Facebook fundraiser and ask your friends to donate to charity instead of buying you a present!

Step 5. It’s party time!
So your all set! But by now you’re wondering how on earth you’re going to have a party! So let’s set up a Skype call with all your friends! Everyone can Skype into the party and together you can eat cake, listen to music and celebrate from the comfort of your own home!
