Celebrating the life of a loved one by raising money in their memory is a very personal way of celebrating their life. A tribute can be a personal act of kindness, from a single donation to a community fundraising effort or a funeral collection.
If you’d like to fundraise in memory of a loved one, please get in touch with us. We can help you to get started, and even to create an online tribute page, bringing together all of the memories and fundraising efforts of your community.
Visit our Memory Wall to see the different fundraising efforts and celebrations of some of our supporters who have united their communities in memory of a loved one.
Remember Kidscan in your will, and help us to secure the future of the next generation. If you haven’t already made a will, you’ll need to contact a solicitor. This will ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death. If you already have a will, your solicitor can add a gift to Kidscan to your existing will. Donations that can be made through a will include:
Is the thought of another knitted jumper putting you off opening your presents? Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and Christmas can all be great occasions to share with Kidscan. Why not ask your lovely friends and family to donate to Kidscan instead of buying another shower gel set? If you’d like advice on the best way to set up a “gift in lieu” scheme, get in touch with us for information on how to create a donation page.
Alternatively, you can direct your friends and family here. Curing children’s cancer, or another pair of comedy socks? – we’ll just leave that one here…
Payroll Giving allows you to make regular donations tax-free directly from your pay packet. It’s beneficial because you get tax relief on the donations you make, meaning your donation costs you less. For example your donation of £10 if you’re on a 20% tax rate costs you just £8. If you choose Payroll Giving we receive your donation directly into our bank account, and your donation will appear on your pay slip.
For more information on Payroll Giving, or to see if your company is signed up to a Payroll Giving agency, please get in touch with one of our team.
