Logan's Story

Logan Gallagher was 4 years old when he was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. During the first six months of his treatment Logan was unwell, picking up infections and contracting pneumonia. However Logan fought hard and went into remission until June 2016 when he relapsed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia aswell as a tumour on his lung. Despite his new diagnosis Logan went into remission again and was due to have a bone marrow transplant in November 2016. After 2 weeks of being unwell, an MRI showed Logan had fluid on the brain caused by a posterior fossa tumour. Logan had three operations and radiotherapy. Sadly Logan passed away on the 23rd December 2016 with his family by his side.
