Easter Fundraising Ideas

Easter is recognised every year and in Christianity it celebrates the day that Jesus was resurrected (Easter Sunday). It is celebrated across the world, and has become a really exciting time for children! It’s also a great time to hold a fundraiser to bring the family together and to support your favourite charity.

Here are our top 5 Easter fundraising ideas!

Egg Decorating Competition

Did you know? Eggs are an ancient symbol of new life – that’s why we often celebrate Easter with different types of eggs!

Easter Egg Hunt

Did you know? The Easter bunny became popular in the 19th century after it was recognised as another sign of new life! That’s because rabbits give birth to large litters of babies! Over the years, the two symbols became one – and that’s why the Easter bunny delivers chocolate eggs!

Why not celebrate Easter in the most well-known way!? By hosting your own Easter egg hunt!? You could hide chocolate eggs around for people to find in return for a small donation, or you could make an Easter egg trail – with clues at each egg point leading to the next egg!

Easter Bonnet Parade

The Easter Bonnet comes from the tradition of buying new clothes at Easter, but is better known by children across the country as an annual craft project. To raise funds why not host your own Easter Bonnet Competition? You can ask for a donation in return for entry, or even host a craft afternoon to raise extra money!

Bunny Bingo!

Looking for a simple way to raise money for charity? Why not have a go at Bunny Bingo! Download our Bunny Bingo game and hold your own bingo competition at lunch! You can ask for donations in return for entry

Easter Knit-a-Thon

Are you a nifty knitter? Then why not put your skills to the test by knitting a range of easter goods? You could knit Easter Chickens, Easter Eggs and Easter bunnies – and then hide chocolate eggs inside! You can sell your creations in return for a donation!
