Great North Runners raise over £2500!

On the 8^th September our brave supporters threw on their Kidscan T-Shirts and took to the streets of Newcastle to raise money for Kidscan.

As the whistle blew and the sun pounded down nineteen daring fundraisers set off on the grueling 13.1 mile run. Regardless of the weather – all nineteen runners past the finish line to claim their medals at the end.

“What a beautiful day it was in Newcastle Upon Tyne for our fantastic supporters! Each of them smashed their targets and donations are still pouring in for Kidscan! A huge thank you to each and every one of you for your commitment, energy and support!”

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our runners, and the kind donations of those supporting them, the team managed to raise over £2500 to put towards childhood cancer research!
