Nottingham to Skegness Bike Ride

A fantastic foursome Paul Harlow, Dean Fletcher, Richard Henson and Neal Ponton hit the roads last Saturday as they took on an epic cycle challenge in aid of Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research.

The journey took them from Stapleford Nottingham to the Clock Tower Skegness – a gruelling 98 miles.

Since January the brilliant group have been training hard to meet the challenge. What started with rusty wheels and pedalling has now developed into matching lycra and shiny new bikes. Weather has been no exception and the group have been out in rain, wind, sleet and snow.

Emma Pawluk, Community & Events Fundraiser for Kidscan said ’98 miles is an incredible challenge. We’re so incredibly proud of all 4 of them and would like to thank everyone who has supported them along their journey. As a small charity the £2500 that they have already raised will make such a huge difference to children with cancer. We can’t thank them enough!’

Kidscan is dedicated to finding safer new treatments for children with cancer. It is one of the only UK charities solely dedicated to combating children’s cancer. To find out more about Paul, Dean, Richard and Neal’s bike ride, or to donate, please visit: Paul Harlow is fundraising for Kidscan
