“As a cell biologist interested in understanding the basic mechanisms of cell cycle regulation, I always wanted to translate the basic knowledge and discoveries into possible therapeutic avenues. At Brunel University London we have a good group of researchers interested in childhood cancer. Since I joined discussions, collaborations and convergence of different expertise made it possible to translate my basic research into a specific investigation with a direct patient benefit.”
Research Interests
I am interested in studying cell division and in particular the dynamics and organisation of chromatin during the transition from mitosis to G1.
