Stephen Duckworth joined Kidscan on the board of trustees in January 2021 and took on the role of Interim Chair when Martin Keelagher stepped down in July 2021.
In his current role Stephen is founder and president of Adspectus Consulting sas where he uses his expertise in plastics and medical applications, quality and regulatory knowledge to help companies fast-track projects and achieve business growth.
Stephen brings to the charity over 35 years of professional experience, specialising in medical and pharmaceutical marketing, management problem solving and communications. After graduating from Salford University with a Bsc in Science in 1981, Stephen began his career managing plastic engineering products and marketing for European and then global markets. From 2000 at PolyOne, Stephen was responsible for strategy development and implementation for Europe and Asia including managing mergers and acquisitions plus a European marketing team. There then followed consultancy work, specialising in chemicals, polymers and related areas working on client engagement, project leadership and delivery. In 2007 Stephen joined Clariant Masterbatches (now Avient Corporation) in Switzerland where he worked for 14 years, responsible for design and implementation of a strategy for global business line growth and profit in the medical and pharmaceutical markets.
