Joanne has been a family law solicitor since 2008. She is a partner at leading independent law firm, Brabners LLP. Joanne heads up their family law team in the Manchester office and is one of the firm's training partners, responsible for the recruitment and development of trainee solicitors in the firm.
Joanne was introduced to Kidscan after meeting the Chair of Kidscan and learning of the vital work they are doing to develop child-focused treatments for cancer. Joanne feels strongly about charitable and philanthropic giving and wanted to contribute her time and efforts to such a worthy cause.
Joanne hopes to use her legal training and expertise to assist in the governance of Kidscan and to use her strong connections in the Manchester business community to help build new relationships with the charity.
