Role of cilia-dependent IGF-1R signalling in drug resistant peadiatric rhabdoid tumours

The results of my work will provide rationale for improving the treatment of children with cancer through characterising mechanisms of drug resistance and potential ways to overcome it. My research will facilitate improvements in current cancer treatments, and generate new knowledge to design new treatment strategies that could improve survival and quality of life.
