Synthesis & evaluation: conformationally restricted analogues of potentially anti-metastatic sulfates

My research looks at constructing a compound that inhibits tumours in the brain from metastasizing or splitting apart and migrating across to different parts of the brain. This is done by taking an initial molecule and through different reactions adding specific chemical groups or parts onto the molecule; kind of like adding jigsaw pieces together to eventually get a full picture.
