Salford City in The Rain

On the 8^th of September, as the crowds descended on Salford City Football Ground, torrential rain set in! But not even a storm could stop our volunteers and supporters from raising over £285!

The locals joined us in full force to represent Kidscan, welcoming supporters to the ground and collecting donations for vital research. The supporters where extremely giving raising enough money to fund over 28 hours of vital research!

Our fundraising Manager Emma Pawluk explained “I thoroughly enjoyed the day! Despite the weather, the guys did not disappoint. Thank you to everybody involved!”

As a local Salford charity, receiving support off our local football team is always exciting. Salford City has been a dedicated supporter of the charity and at half time we were thrilled to accept a cheque for £1277 at half time for the money raised at their award evening.

Kidscan want to send a massive thank you to all those involved in the collection, and to Salford City for their ongoing support! We look forward to many successful collections in the future!
