A statement from Kidscan Children's Cancer Research in regards to the Umbrella Ball

 

Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research have been made aware, that various reports and news pieces, have been made in regards to the Umbrella Ball, which was held in aid of Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research (Kidscan) and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH) on the 7th July 2018, in Manchester.

 

The charity ball was arranged by a third party organisation. Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research, a Charity based in Salford, supporting dedicated, ground breaking research, into treatments for Children, diagnosed with cancer; had no involvement with the planning or execution of the event.

 

To date, Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research have not received any funds from the charity ball event.

 

Since this is an ongoing investigation, Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research have been advised not to make any further comment on this matter, at this time. Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research will continue to cooperate fully with the investigation.
