Read MoreOver the past several weeks, we have spent some time going through all the great activities our supporters and volunteers have done for us over the years. Our Fundraising Team thought it would be a great idea to send a massive THANK YOU to all our supports and volunteers on Tuesday for our Thankathon!
We had a lot of familiar faces sending in videos of themselves expressing their gratitude to our supporters for all their hard work and continued support with Kidscan.
On the day of our Thankathon, we had many volunteers turn up to give us a lending hand. Among the various activities was handwriting postcard to be sent out to our supporters. Volunteers have been a valuable part our the Kidscan family in helping with events, general administrative work and bring good vibes to the team.
The team at Kidscan also took part in the activity, making phone calls throughout the day to supporters.
Our Fundraising Officer, Alison said, “It was a great day we had at the Thankathon, and it was lovely to spend time making calls to some of our supports who were quite surprised to receive the call and really appreciated the time we took to thank them personally. Our volunteers were fantastic and helped the day run smoothly. It’s important to all of us at Kidscan to make sure we thank the extraordinary people who raise money for us in some many ways, as we quite simply couldn’t do what we do, without them!”
Overall, we are happy with how the day turned out and appreciated all the volunteers who came along to help us on the day. We can’t do what we do without the ongoing support from everyone involved with Kidscan and to be able to fund the vital research we do in childhood cancer.
