We’re thrilled to announce that Dr Matthew Jones will be presenting KidsCan Connect at the upcoming HIVE Health Innovation Conference, held at Edge Hill University on 15th May 2025.

As part of the afternoon session, focused on improving the patient experience, Dr Matt will join a powerful line-up of innovators across the NHS, academia and social care to share how our new digital platform is supporting children with cancer through the most challenging times of their lives.

💬 What is KidsCan Connect?

Launching later this year, KidsCan Connect is a groundbreaking digital platform developed by KidsCan in partnership with Edge Hill University. The platform is designed to tackle isolation in young cancer patients by providing:

• Weekly virtual support groups
• Interactive educational content
• VR hospital tours to reduce anxiety
• Digital escape rooms and games
• A safe online space to connect with peers, researchers, and ambassadors

It’s all about making sure that no child facing cancer feels alone—whether they’re in hospital or at home.
