Children’s cancer charity, Kidscan, is celebrating a £25k fundraising milestone reached by Manchester entrepreneur and Spar stores owner Paul Stone.Collected at Paul’s seven central Manchester stores, the continuous generosity of both the customers and staff is proof that every penny really does help.The money raised will go towards the charity’s pioneering research into discovering new, targeted treatments for childhood cancers. Kidscan does not receive any statutory funding, so relies on the generosity of businesses and the general public.Ged Carter, Director of Development at Kidscan, said: “It’s a privilege to be partnered with one of Manchester’s best retailers and entrepreneurs.
