Every ‘Raise and Give’ society in the country knows the term Mega-Raid, but Cambridge RAG took that term to the extreme when they took on a marathon street collection across 5 days in 5 different locations.

Starting in St Albans the society braved the freezing weather to collect money for Kidscan. Armed with their purple buckets and festive onesies they shook their buckets up and down the high streets.Over the next few days the society collected in Reading, Guildford and Salisbury before finishing their collection in Zone 1 of Central London. The team where even spurred on by the staff across the London Tube stations, who made special announcements to their festive travelers about the collection. Thanks to the generous giving of the public, the support of the London Transport Staff and the dedication from Cambridge RAG the final count came to a tremendous £5895! Well-done Cambridge RAG!
