Our volunteers of the month for January goes to father and son team Neil & Ian Lambourne. The pair have been lifelong friends with one of our fundraisers Ian when they both met at student fundraising and were flatmates. Neil and Ian have been supporting Kidscan for the past two years and managed to raise a whooping £1,000 last year by exchanging foreign change.

Neil has had a passion for collecting stamps and coins. Over the past two year’s Neil has gone to his local banks and collected unwanted foreign currency to be donated to Kidscan. Neil has helped develop and grow a relationship with Metro Bank and RMS services who deal with the foreign currency.Neil has been a constant advocate for Kidscan in and around his area. We are grateful for the support Neil & Ian have shown us and the effort to help raise awareness and vital funds for Kidscan.
