Supporters (Corporate)
If you chose to support us through corporate fundraising or by hosting a collection tin we will collect information about the business and the person enquiring including:
Children’s Data
In some circumstances we collect information from children. This may occur if they are fundraising for us, sign up to or attend an event, or become an ambassador for us. Where possible we will always seek permission from a parent or guardian before collecting the information, otherwise we will do so before processing the information.

Targeting Communications and building profiles of our supporters
We may use profiling and screening techniques to better target our communications and resources. In order to build a profile of you we may combine information given directly to us with information that is publicly available such as geographical and demographical data.
Sharing your story
Some of our supporters chose to share their story with us to help us increase awareness of our cause. This may be as an ambassador or a supporter. These stories may include personal information and if we have the explicit consent from the individual (or parent/guardian if the individual is under 18) we may share these stories on our website, at events and in promotional materials.
If you make a donation by credit or debit card through our website your card details will not be stored by Kidscan Limited. Instead your card details will be stored and processed by our selected third-party payment processing firm, who we receive the right to change, from time to time, in accordance with their own privacy policy. We therefore recommend you read their privacy policy to further understand how they process your data.
In all other cases, personal information you provide is stored in our cloud-based CRM system. We undertake regular reviews of who has access to the information we hold about you and we ensure that those who do have access are appropriately trained staff or volunteers, instructed through an appropriate contract of services.
In some instances, we use a third party to process data, we do comprehensive checks on these companies before and whilst we work with them, and put appropriate contracts in place that sets out our expectations and requirements, especially regarding how they manage the personal data they collect or have access to and we regularly monitor their activities for us to ensure their compliance.
We will never sell your details to third parties but may share your details if we are working with a third party to deliver a service, if for example you are taking part in a challenge event. In these circumstances we will make it absolutely clear how your information will be used and will only share your details if we have your explicit and informed consent.
We may also need to disclose your details if required by the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors.
If you have made a donation to Kidscan directly or through a third party, we must keep a record of your donation for at least seven years for audit purposes.
