Frequently Asked Questions

What is a minimum fundraising amount?

A minimum fundraising amount is the amount of donations we ask you to raise. By ensuring you reach this amount, we are able to offer you a reduced ticket price for your chosen bungeee jump – because we can ensure a minimum amount of money will go towards childhood cancer research.

When you purchase your ticket, you will be promted to setup your online fundraising page, where you can start collecting donation as soon as you’re all setup! We will also send you our fundraising pack, full of tips and tricks to help you raise your fundraising goals. You’ll also be introduced to our fundraising team, who are on hand to help you with your fundraising!

Wondering if you can hit the minimum sponsorship amount? Think about all the friends and family you can ask to sponsor you, if each one of those also inspired their friends and family to donate – you will reach your target in no time! When people find out your taking on a bungee jump for such a worthy cause – we are sure you will receive lots of support!

I don't think I can raise the minimum amount, can I still take part?

Yes ofcourse! We appreciate some people may not be able to reach the minimum fundraising amount, or may not want to pledge to doing so. But we value every penny you raise for Kidscan by taking on such a huge challenge!

In this case, you have the option to pay the full ticket price through the provider. Simply get in touch with us and we can help you setup your challenge! You will still receive the same support from Kidscan from the moment you sign up, to the moment you take that leap of faith!

Where your money goes

in the UK 20% of children diagnosed with cancer will not survive because treatment options are limited. Of those who do survive 60% will be left with disabilities that can range from hearing loss to hear problems caused by treatments that damage their bodies.

By funding research at the University of Salford and across the UK, Kidscan are working towards a world where every child diagnosed with cancer can both survive and live the long lives they deserve.
