Martyn's Story

Martyn Hett was very much a friend of Kidscan and we were heartbroken to hear the news of his tragic death in the Manchester Arena bombing.
Martyn’s charisma and charm have been at the forefront of much of the media attention following the outrage and he has come to symbolise the profound contrast between the exuberant love of life of those at the concert and the culture of hatred and destruction that ended his.

We are humbled to have been chosen by Martyn’s family to be one of the beneficiaries of a fundraising page set up in his memory and we are energised by remembering what Martyn achieved for us and what we will go on to achieve with the generous donations of those who share his attitude.
