Read MoreWe are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year at not one but eight Sainsbury’s stores in the Greater Manchester area!
If chosen for Sainbury’s charity of the year, we will have the chance to work within the community alongside the Sainburys team to raise vital funds for children’s cancer research. This is a huge opportunity for us to also increase awareness of children’s cancer, and the life-long effects treatments can have on their growing bodies.
Archie was just 4 months old when he was diagnosed with a rare Liver Cancer. After a liver transplant, blood transfusions, and multiple rounds of chemotherapy Archie is now cancer free but due to the aggressive treatments now faces life-long problems including high frequency hearing loss and leg pain due to hyper mobility in his hips, knees and ankles. He also has to be fed through a tube in his tummy for 18 hrs a day/night. Despite his journey, Archie is still an energetic 4 year old.
You can help future children diagnosed with cancer, like Archie, by voting for us to win Sainsbury’s charity of the year to help children like Archie simply visit https://www.sainsburyslocalcharity.co.uk/ and search for the below stores.
