Kidscan welcomes Guest Speaker Sarah Collins

Since December 2018 The Grill on New York Street has been hosting a quarterly networking lunch in aid of Kidscan – raising over £3k to date! So we were absolutely thrilled when The Grill on New York Street decided to continue their support with two more dates!

And it doesn’t stop there – as we are pleased to announce that our Guest Speaker for the next networking lunch will be The Managing Director of the Quinton Fortune Football Academy, Sarah Collins.

Sarah is an independent sports media consultant, award winning BBC Broadcast Journalist and currently commentates for the Women’s Football on BBC 5 Live.

Sarah is passionate about grassroots sport, inspiring young people and giving back to the community. She co-founded Dominoes Junior Netball Club, is the Managing Director of the Quinton Fortune Football Academy which delivers high quality coaching to children aged 6 – 13 years and is currently working on a new venture looking at how Sports & Education can engage young girls/women in care back into community life.

On the 16th May, Sarah will be delivering a speech to guests, entitled “Talking Sport” and is delighted to be supporting Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research.

‘We are very fortunate at Kidscan to have to the continued support of the prestigious Grill on New York Street and that of their fantastic team.

Team work is essential for our work at Kidscan and it is wonderful that Sarah is joining our growing team of supporters.

We are all looking forward to hearing some of her inspirational experiences with the guests on the 16th of May and cannot thank Sarah and all at The Grill on New York Street enough’ along with the guests who will be in attendance’
