As a teacher, I really like kids, and the thought of them being sick makes me upset. My mum went through chemo, so I know how hard it is and for a child that has to be a lot worse as they don’t know what is going on. When I started to read about all the side effects, it is not only that you will be fighting now it is that you will be fighting your whole life.
Bounce central family fun day and a collection at Tesco and I come to the office every week to help find raffle prizes.
I love them – They were great fun, especially the bounce central event! I like how everyone bounds together, laughs, and it is taken not too serious. Everyone is trying to help it is so much fun!
I’m having fun and feeling like I’m doing something useful. I don’t get the same feeling at work, you know that it is making a difference. When I did the Tesco collection it funded 17 hours of investigation, this is going somewhere, I’m making a difference!
I’m also boosting my CV getting the amazing support from Siobhán & Alison. When I ask anything, I get support on how to approach people, when I have to write emails in work, I feel a lot more confident, I’m boosting my skills and having fun!
The support I’m getting here is amazing, I ask any questions I get clear answers. I’m having great fun with the guys, it’s quite relaxed, a friendly environment and everyone works as a team.
