Salford Welcome Fair

Each year thousands of fresh faces ascend on Salford University to being three years of study in subjects from science to art! This year Kidscan joined the annual Welcome Fair to meet and greet the new students.

Armed with freebies, leaflets and sweets, Kidscan representatives spoke to hundreds of students all interested in helping the charity.

Our Fundraising Manager Emma Pawluk commented “Events like this are a great opportunity to make links with the students at one of our biggest supporters. We have plenty of opportunities for people to get involved in our charity alongside their studies, from enhancing their CV with volunteering to fundraise to fund student research placements.”
“The interest we received on the day was incredible, and we look forward to working with the students in the future.”

At Kidscan we have hundreds of different opportunities for volunteers to get involved with, from helping at fundraising events to enhancing computer skills and taking to our social media channels to help us raise awareness. We welcome all skills and are always open to hearing how you can help Kidscan.
