Residents more than double their target!

Posted in: Charity News | May 2, 2017

Residents of retirement property Ranulph Court in Salford went way above and beyond expectations recently when they raised over £1000 for Kidscan.  Through a series of race nights, coffee mornings and cake sales they smashed their initial target of £500 and handed over a total of £1040.07 to enable Kidscan scientists to continue their vital research into safer cures and treatments for childhood cancer.

Team Manager Julie Evans was spurred into action after seeing Gracie’s video on local news back in September (Childhood Cancer Awareness month). “Seeing the little girl on telly saying she missed her cat when she went into hospital for treatment and hearing that Kidscan was so local to us here in Salford, we just had to do something.”

Thanks so much Ranulph Court for your fantastic efforts!
